Shannon is an hour-long 9-episode CBS crime drama starring Kevin Dobson.

Premise

Jack Shannon, a former New York City police officer who, after the death of his wife, relocates with his ten-year-old son, John, to San Francisco, California. Charlie Fields portrays John; Michael Durrell, Shannon's boss, Lieutenant Moraga, and Al Ruscio, as Paul Lobatelli, Shannon's father-in-law, a fisherman. Karen Kondazian portrayed Shannon's mother-in-law, Irene. Bruce Kirby was cast as Officer Schmidt, one of Shannon's colleagues. The series aired on Wednesdays from November 11 to December 2, 1981, and from March 17 to April 7, 1982.[1]Shannon aired opposite ABC's Dynasty, with John Forsythe, and NBC's Quincy M.E., starring Jack Klugman.
