LOCATION: This church is situated at a distance of 37 km from Mangalore, 6 km from Panemangalore and is surrounded by Borimar, Mogarnad, Bantwal, Modankaup and Allipade parishes[For more details check this website http://mangalorean.com/ekata/cdetail.php?chid=136

This parish is carved from Borimar parish. Because of the long distance to Borimar, the people wanted to build a chapel here. Fr Peter Fernandes of Borimar initiated the construction of a chapel here and the Bishop Basil S. D’Souza blessed and laid the foundation stone on September 4, 1993. It became a parish on May 23, 1998. Later a Grotto dedicated to Our Lady of Vailanakanni was built. Fr Stany Lobo is the first parish priest. He built the new presbytery
