Shaman King: Legacy of the Spirits, Soaring Hawk is a video game based on the Shaman King manga and anime series. The game was released for the Game Boy Advance by Konami on February 8, 2005.

Primary information

The game, along with Sprinting Wolf, uses a style similar to Pokémon video games. The player collects various spirits and battles against opponents with them. As with Pokémon games for the handheld systems, you must buy the other Shaman King GBA incarnation (Sprinting Wolf) if you wish to use all 177 collectible spirits. They can only be traded through GBA linking. When capturing wild spirits, the player throws an item known as a mortuary tablet. It is possible to capture a spirit when its health is at a low level. To win battles, the player must knock out each of the spirits under your opponent's control.

Asakura Yoh gains experience through battle, and eventually can merge two spirits together and thus become more powerful, as seen in Shaman King. The linking cable allows trading of spirits but not battles. There are no side quests. The game takes around fifteen hours to play.
