Shahba District
Shahba' District (Arabic: شهبا Šahbā) is a district (mantiqah) administratively belonging to As-Suwayda Governorate, Syria. At the 2004 Census it had a population of 71,949. Its administrative centre is the city of Shahba.
Sub-districts
The district of Shahba is divided into four sub-districts or Nāḥiyas (population according to 2004 official census):
- Shahba Nahiyah (ناحية مركز شهبا): population 31,657.[1]
- Shaqqa Nahiyah (ناحية شقا): population 15,849.[2]
- Al-Ariqah Nahiyah (ناحية العريقة): population 11,723.[3]
- Al-Surah al-Saghirah Nahiyah (ناحية الصورة الصغيرة): population 12,720.[4]
