Shaandaar (English: Fabulous) is an upcoming Indian romantic comedy film, directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Karan Johar, Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane.[1] It stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, with Pankaj Kapur and Sanjay Kapoor in supporting roles.[2] The Times of India described Shaandar as "India's first destination wedding film".[1] Principal photography began in August 2014 in Leeds,[3][4] and the film is scheduled for release on 4 September 2015.[5]
