Shōta Iizuka (飯塚 翔太, born June 25, 1991) is a Japanese sprinter, who specializes in the 200 metres. The reason why he started track-and-field was he won the local competition of 100m race at where he resided when he was third grade and then the club coach scouted him to his track-and-field club. He attends the Fujieda Meisei High School and then does the Chuo University.

At the 2010 World Junior Championships in Athletics, Iizuka won the 200 m title with a time of 20.67 seconds.[2] This earned him the gold medal, Japanese Male sprinter's first medal in the event.[1][3]
