Seyed Ali Mirlohi Falavarjani

Dr. Seyed Ali Mirlohi Falavarjani [1] is an Iranian professor of Arabic literature and retired professor from University of Isfahan. he was born on 1942 in the city of Falavarjan, Isfahan province, Iran. He is the founder [2] of the Islamic Azad University of Falavarjan, Isfahan[3] and was its president from 1985 to 1992. Falavarjan Azad University Branch, now with more than 4,000 students with more than 10 fields of study has been active and due to the high number of female students at the University, it is the first all female School of Isfahan Province. [4]

Biography

Seyyed Ali Mirlohi is son of Hojjat al-Eslam Solomon Mirlohi, a very highly popular and respected religious figure in Falavarjan who passed in 1987, more than 40,000 people attended his burial ceremony. Dr. Seyed Ali Mirlohi has 4 children, Vahid a Civil Engineer, Nasiraldin a Mechanical Engineer,[5] Reyhane a Phd in Arabic Litrature, Zahra, a Medical doctor.[6]

Early Education

He did his elementary education in Minoo elementary until 1952 and then to seminary school of Fiqh level with masters such as Ayatollah Sheikh Hassan Emami and then went to Qom seminary and participated in Ayatollah Hossein Kazemeyni Boroujerdi classes.

Higher Education

Dr. Mirlohi earned his diploma in 1964 and entered to Tehran University in the Faculty of Theology.[7]

-Tehran University PhD in Arabic language and literature Faculty of Theology Faculty in 1975

Academic

Research fields:

-rhetoric, rhetoric, especially the Holy Quran and Arabic grammar and syntax, especially the Holy Quran and prose interpretation and dissemination of literature and politics

-Dr Seyed Ali Mirlohi is curently editor in chif for "RESEARCH IN ARABIC LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE" Magazine-Semi Annually published by University of Isfahan.[8]
