Sever Your Ties was a Christian rock band from San Diego, California.[1] Their first studio album, Safety in the Sea, was released on July 8, 2008 through Solid State Records. On June 4, 2010, they announced that they were disbanding.[2]

The band's debut album, Safety in the Sea, was released on Solid State Records, a division of Tooth & Nail, on July 8, 2008.[3] The album charted at No. 49 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart.[3]
