Sergi Samper Montaña (born 20 January 1995) is a Spanish footballer who plays for FC Barcelona B as a defensive midfielder.
Club career
Born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Samper joined FC Barcelona's youth setup in 2001, aged 6, after a successful trial.[1] On 9 May 2013, he signed a four-year professional deal with Barça.[2]
On 10 June 2013, Samper was promoted to FC Barcelona B.[3] On 17 August, he made his professional debut, in a 1–2 away defeat against CD Mirandés.[4] He appeared in 40 matches during the campaign, with his side finishing third.
On 17 September 2014 Samper made his first-team debut, starting in a 1–0 home success against APOEL FC, for the season's UEFA Champions League.[5]

Personal life
Samper's older brother, Jordi, is a professional tennis player.[7]
