Sergey Golovkin (Russian: Серге́й Александрович Головкин) (November 26, 1959, in Moscow, Soviet Union – August 2, 1996) was one of the most famous Soviet and Russian serial killers known as "The Fisher" or "The Udav" (The "Boa") who killed and tortured 11 boys in the Moscow area between 1986 and 1992.[1]
Biography
Sergey Golovkin was born in Moscow. His father was an alcoholic and his mother was an ordinary modest woman. His parents divorced in 1988.
As a child, Golovkin was a loner and he was often sick. He always suffered from enuresis and was afraid that his classmates would smell his urine. At the age of 13, he began appearing sadistic. He caught a cat in the street and brought it home when he hung it by its head.
Golovkin had a torture room in his garage where he tortured children (sometimes more than one at a time) for hours. He raped, burned, removed the skin, cut, killed and dismembered his victims.
Golovkin was sentenced to death and executed by firing squad. He was the last person to be executed by Russia before the abolition of capital punishment.[2]
