Sergei Filatov (Russian: Серге́й Иванович Филатов, 25 September 1926 - 3 April 1997)[1] was a Soviet equestrian and Olympic champion. Riding the black Akhal-Teke stallion Absent, he won an individual gold medal in Dressage at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome,[2] and received two bronze medals at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
