Self/less (or Selfless) is an upcoming 2015 science fiction thriller film directed by Tarsem Singh and written by David Pastor and Àlex Pastor. The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Ben Kingsley, Matthew Goode and Michelle Dockery. The film is set to be released on July 10, 2015.[1]
Plot
An extremely wealthy aristocrat (Ben Kingsley) dying from cancer, undergoes a radical medical procedure that transfers his consciousness into the body of a healthy young man (Ryan Reynolds). But all is not as it seems when he starts to uncover the mystery of the body’s origin, discovering the body was not the empty flesh he was promised and had a life and family before he was used for his own body, and the "organization" that will kill to protect its cause. To make matters worse, he faces the threat of losing control of the body he now possesses and its original owner's consciousness resurfacing, which will erase his mind in the process.

Production
Filming
Principal photography began in October 2013 in New Orleans.[2]
Music
On September 30, 2014, Antônio Pinto and Dudu Aram were hired to compose the music for the film.[3]
Release
The film was originally set to release on February 27, 2015. On July 2, 2014, the film was rescheduled to release on April 17, 2015.[1] However, on November 8, 2014, the studio once again postponed the film for a July 31, 2015 release.[4]
A trailer of the film was released on March 04, 2015.[5][6][7]
