Sekai Project is an American company and video game publisher. They are mainly known for licensing and translating Japanese visual novels into English.

History

Sekai Project started out in 2007 as a fan translation group translating the visual novel School Days.[1] They later partnered with JAST USA to release an official English version for it.[2] In August 2014, Sekai Project announced that they would be releasing Clannad on Steam in English.[3] In November 2014, Sekai Project announced Raiders Sphere 4th, their first non-visual novel publication. In December 2014, Sekai Project announced that they had acquired permission to release the freeware program MikuMikuDance on Steam.[4]
