Sealtiel is a powerful archon, in the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game.
Publication history
Sealtiel was first mentioned as one of the Hebdomad in Planes of Law (1995).[1] He was mentioned in the supplement Warriors of Heaven (1999).[2]
In third edition, Sealtiel appeared along with the other members of the Celestial Hebdomad in the Book of Exalted Deeds (2003).[3]
Description
The order of Thrones is ruled by the Tome Archons or Hebdomad, who each rule an entire layer of Mount Celestia. Sealtiel, whose symbol is the Dog, rules Jovar.
Realm
Yetsirah the Heavenly City and all of Jovar is ruled over by Sealtiel the Defender. Sealtiel commands one of the most impressive standing armies in the Heavens from his fortress of Pax Exaltea, and is charged with preventing impure beings from reaching the uppermost layer of Celestia.
