The scrub euphonia (Euphonia affinis) is a species of bird in the Fringillidae family. It is found in Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Nicaragua. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, and heavily degraded former forest.

Taxonomy

The subspecies E. a. godmani is sometimes considered to be a full species, Godman's euphonia Euphonia godmani Brewster, 1889.
