Scottish Equity Partners (SEP) is a UK venture capital firm. Since its inception in 1991 it has invested in technology and technology-enabled companies in the TMT, energy and healthcare sectors.

The firm has invested in companies including Biovex,^[1] Craneware,^[2] CSR,^[3] Searchspace^[4] and Skyscanner.^[5]

As well as their primary investments, they have partnered with FTSE 100-company SSE plc and established a secondary investment fund focused exclusively on cleantech companies.^[6] Investors include Lexington Partners, which has $20 billion under management, UK based funds Hermes GPE and F&C Private Equity , as well as Swiss-based Partners Group.
