Scottish Commercial Motormen's Union

The Scottish Commercial Motormen's Union was a trade union in the United Kingdom. It merged with the Transport and General Workers' Union in 1971.

The union was founded in 1898 as the Scottish Carters' Association, and was later renamed the Scottish Horse and Motormen's Association.[1] In 1902, its membership stood at only 300, and the union was heavily indebted, but by 1929, it had 10,000 members and a considerable surplus.[2]
