Scott Sorensen (born 16 March 1993) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer for the South Sydney Rabbitohs of the National Rugby League. He primarily plays hooker, second-row and lock.

Background

Born in Sydney, New South Wales, Sorensen played his junior football for Cronulla Caringbah before being signed by the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.

Playing career

In 2013, Sorensen played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks' NYC team before moving on to the Sharks' New South Wales Cup team in 2014.

In Round 24 of the 2014 NRL season, Sorensen made his NRL debut for the Sharks against the Canberra Raiders.[2]

On 14 January 2015, Sorensen signed a train and trial contract with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, in the hope of gaining a full-time contract.[3]

Personal life

Sorensen is the nephew of former Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks players Kurt Sorensen and Dane Sorensen.[4]
