Scott John Pelluer (born April 26, 1959 in Yakima, Washington) is a former American football linebacker in the National Football League for the New Orleans Saints. Pelluer was drafted out of Washington State University by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 1981 NFL Draft. His son, Tyler Pelluer, played for the Montana Grizzlies, while Cooper Pelluer is a member of the Washington Huskies football team and youngest son Peyton Pelluer is headed to Pullman to play football for the Washington State Cougars. Scott ranks among the top career tacklers in Washington State history. His father, Arnie Pelluer, also was a standout at Washington State, from 1953-55. His brother, Steve, was the starting quarterback for the Washington Huskies from 1981–83, and youngest brother Arnie played linebacker at Stanford from 1984-87. Scott has served as an assistant coach at Boise State, Northern Arizona, Washington and Arizona.
