Scott Linton (born 6 September 1989 in Glasgow), is a Scottish footballer currently playing for Dumbarton. He played for Hibernian as a youth player before playing for Cowdenbeath. Linton plays as a defender.
Career
Early years
Scott, a left winger and left back who can also play in central midfield began his career at Hibernian but did not make a single appearance.
Cowdenbeath
In January 2008 he signed for Cowdenbeath.[1] He made 100 appearances for the 'Blue Brazil'
Dumbarton
In June 2013 he signed for Dumbarton.[2] He scored his first goal for Dumbarton in November 2013, against Berwick Rangers. On May the 20th Linton agreed a new one-year deal with the club.[3]
