Scott Fraser (born 30 March 1995) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scottish Premiership club Dundee United, making his first team debut in May 2014. He joined Airdrieonians on loan in October 2014.
Early life and career
Fraser first started playing competitive football with local boys side Dee Club before moving onto Longforgan Boys Club, along with future team-mate Scott Smith. At age 10 he then joined the youth set-up at Dundee United.[1] He progressed through the youth ranks and joined up with the first team for pre-season at the start of the 2011–12 season, but suffered a leg break which kept him out of action for the entire season.[1] After recovering from injury, Fraser was named the club's under-20 player of the season for 2013–14.[1]
Playing career
Club
Fraser's good form at youth level in 2013–14 saw him make his debut for the first team on the 11 May 2014 as a substitute in Dundee United's final game of the Scottish Premiership season, away to Celtic.[2]
On 10 October 2014, Fraser signed for Airdrieonians on loan until January 2015.[3] He scored a goal after two minutes of his Airdrie debut, in a 4–0 win against Brechin City.[4]
