The Scottish national netball team in 2006.

The Scotland national netball team, known as the "Scottish Thistles", represent Scotland in international netball tests and competitions. The Thistles competed in every World Championship from 1963–2007, finishing sixth on three occasions (1971, 1975, 1983). The team are currently coached by Gail Parata. As of 15th February 2015, Scotland are 11th in the INF World Rankings.[2]
