Scolomys ucayalensis, also known as the long-nosed scolomys[2] or Ucayali spiny mouse[1] is a nocturnal rodent species from South America. It is part of the genus Scolomys within the tribe Oryzomyini. It is found in Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, at elevations from 200 to 800 metres (660 to 2,620 ft) in the Amazon Rainforest.[1]
