Scholastic probation
Not to be confused with academic probation which is the initial probationary period in the employment of an academic, or disciplinary probation which is the result of a student misconduct rather than academic performance.
Scholastic probation or academic dismissal is a status that can apply to students at a higher educational institution as the result of poor academic achievement.[1]
