Schneider Electric SE (Euronext: SU) is a European multinational corporation that specializes in electricity distribution, automation management and produces installation components for energy management. It is headquartered in Rueil-Malmaison, France and is also based at the World Trade Center of Grenoble.

Head office

Schneider Electric has had its head office in the Trianon site in Rueil-Malmaison, France since 2000.[3][4] The current headquarters, also located in Rueil Malmaison and known as the Hive, previously housed Schneider subsidiary Télémécanique, while the parent company occupied a site in Boulogne-Billancourt.[4]

History

The roots of this company are in the iron, steel, and armaments factories of Schneider-Creusot[47] and other industrial concerns.[48] In 2014 Schneider Electric advertised a cooperation with German power supplier RWE.[49]
