Sceptre (Sceptre Incorporated ) is a privately owned American consumer-electronics producer headquartered in California. Its products include LCD and CRT televisions, notebook PCs, touch screens, LCD and CRT computer monitors, WiFi networking products, USB flash drives and cameras.
It is not clear whether Sceptre manufactures their products or outsources them.
Current products
Sceptre currently has three lines of consumer LCD televisions available, the X series Naga and the X series Komodo. Both lines are available in screen sizes ranging from 20" to 46" and support 1080p input via HDMI ports, as well as a 2160p ultra HD. Both lines support a native resolution of 1366x768 (720p native) except for the 32" (X32BV-Full HD model only), 37", 40", 42" and 46" Naga sets which support 1920x1080 (1080p native). The 40" class has a diagonal measurement of 38.5".

Sceptre was founded in 1984, and since then the company has developed many consumer products, including:

Other
Sceptre computers were prominently displayed throughout the television series Earth: Final Conflict.
Started a "Hi-End" Brand in 2012 called oCosmo which share similar design features to their current Sceptre brand TVs. Even down to the metallic brush bezel on their 2014 models. It is unclear what differences, if any, the actual hardware has compared to their Sceptre counterparts.[1][2][3]
