Scarlett Kapella (born January 22, 1988) is an American model and writer based in Los Angeles, California. Currently represented by NEXT Model Management and CESD Talent.
Early life
Born in Indio, California to Steve and Cindy Kapella. She is of American Indian and Norwegian descent. She is a classically trained ballet dancer. Kapella was discovered at the Coachella Music Festival in 2006 by Elite Model Management.
Career
She has appeared in Metro.POP, Flaunt, BPM, Lucky Magazine, Teen Vogue, aRude Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Genlux Magazine, 944 Magazine, and in advertisements for Stussy, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Joico, Bravo TV, E! Entertainment Television, Got 2 B Hair, Icebreakers Mints and Ed Hardy shot by David LaChapelle. She has also appeared in numerous music videos including "Falling Down" by Duran Duran, "Bounce" by MSTRKRFT ft. N.O.R.E., "Heartbreaker" by MSTRKRFT ft. John Legend, "I Never Knew You" by Cage directed by Shia LaBeouf,[1] "The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala" by Arctic Monkeys, and "The Veil of Isis" by The Sword.[2]
