Scalicus orientalis is a species of armored searobin native to the western Pacific Ocean where it occurs at depths of 497 to 510 metres (1,631 to 1,673 ft) on the continental slope. This species grows to a length of 15.4 centimetres (6.1 in) SL. [1]
