Sayem Sobhan Anvir is the Managing Director of the Bashundhara Group.

Business career

In 2001, Anvir was declared the Managing Director of the Bashundhara Group by chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan.[1]

Anvir has the business membership of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce & Industries (MCCI), SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industries.

Recognition

Anvir was conferred the US Congressional Recognition in 2011 for his contributions aimed at consolidating business ties between Bangladesh and the United States.[2] He is also a recipient of different prizes including ‘Best-Stall Trophy’ at the Dhaka International Trade Fair (DIFT) in 2006.
