Savigno is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bologna in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) southwest of Bologna. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,679 and an area of 54.8 square kilometres (21.2 sq mi).[1]
