Saveock

Saveock is a village in Cornwall, England. It lies just north of Chacewater.[1] Archaeologists have uncovered "witch pits" in this village dating from the 1640s up to the 1970s. These pits are shallow holes lined with the skin of an animal turned inside out and other ritual items.[2]
