Sasi Kalinga is a major supporting actor in Malayalam cinema [1] He has performed serious roles in titles such as "Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha" (2009) directed by Ranjith, "Pranchiyettan & the Saint"(2010) directed by Ranjith, "Indian Rupee" (2011) directed by Ranjith, Salim Ahamed's national award winning film "Adaminte Makan Abu" (Abu, Son of Adam)(2011) and blockbuster "Amen"(2013 film)[2][3] He was famous through a popular comedy character 'Ayyappan' in the film 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint.
Personal life
Kalinga Sasi is born as Chandrakumar to Chandrasekharan Nair and Sukumari at Kunnamangalam, Kozhikode. He had his primary education from St. Joseph's Boys' Higher Secondary School, Kunnamangalam and diploma in Automobile Engineering from Govt polytechnic collage Kozhikode. He is married to Prabhavathi.[4]
