Sardar Biglari (Persian: سردار بیگلری; born August 30, 1977) is an entrepreneur and is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Biglari Holdings,[2] a holding company that trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol BH. Biglari is also Founder, Chairman and CEO of Biglari Capital, the general partner to The Lion Fund. He started his company at the age of 18 with $15,000 and today it has over 22,000 employees.

Biglari controls the Steak 'n Shake Company, Maxim Magazine and the Western Sizzlin' corporation among others, which are subsidiaries of Biglari Holdings.

He was called a "combative investor" by The New York Times[3] and his bid to take over a Michigan insurance company was blocked by the Michigan legislature.[4]
