Santosh Srinivas is a director, screenwriter, and cinematographer who works primarily in Telugu cinema, well known for directing Kandireega[1] features Ram in lead role. It was a super hit at the Tollywood box office. However, his second venture Rabhasa was a colossal flop at the box office.
Personal life
Santosh was born and brought up in Vishakhapatnam. He completed his schooling and graduation in Vishakhapatnam.[2] He is the first person who entered into the film industry from his family.His childhood dream brought up him to film industry.
Career
santosh started his career as a Cinematographer.He worked as Cinematographer for films Khatarnak,Takkari,Rainbow.[3] Then he got a chance as a director for Kandireega from producer Bellamkonda Suresh which features Ram and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles.Then again he started a movie with Ram with the same cast&crew of Kandireega but unfortunately the movie didn't went to floors.Later he started with his new project Rabhasa featuring NTR Jr and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in lead roles.[4] The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on August 14, 2014.
