Sanjay Chhel is an Indian film Director, Writer & Lyricist.
Career
He is son of art director and production designer Chhel Vayeda.
He had wrote or directed more than 25 films. He debuted in direction with Khoobsurat (1999). He wrote story of Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani (2000). He directed and produced a TV series Hum Sab Baraati (2004) for Zee TV. He wrote and directed Maan Gaye Mughal-e-Azam (2008) which turned commercially unsuccessful. He wrote dialogues and lyrics of Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji (2011).[1] His upcoming film is Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi produced by Bharat Patel which is slated for release in February 2015.
Apart from film career, he writes weekly column in Gujarati daily, Mumbai Samachar, Gujarat Guardian,Nav Gujarat Samay, Kutch Mitra, Phoolchhab.
