Sanghi
Sanghi (سانگھی) Also spelled as (Sanghi or Sangi) is a Saraiki tribe in Punjab, Pakistan.
Location
The majority of the tribe occupies the Northern most territory of the District of Dera Ghazi Khan Tehsil Taunsa Sharif, Panjab, Pakistan and its adjacent tribal areas in the Suleiman Mountains. Important centers of the tribe include Basti Bukna,[1] Nari North, Nari South , Retra , Chah Kamali, Vehova, Ismail Abad (near indus high way. Sanghi's are also found in Jampur Punjab and in Rajanpur. In Sindh their main districts are Sanghar, Nawab Shah.
Language
The Sanghi people living in Punjab (Dera ghazi Khan district, RajanPur, Lahore) and in the Sulaiman Ranges speak Saraiki while those living in plains of Sindh mostly speak Sindhi.
