Sandra Lim

Sandra Lim is a professor and poet in the United States. She won the Barnard Women Poets Prize in 2013 for the best second collection of poems by an American woman poet. The award includes a free public reading at Barnard and publication of her book of poems The Wilderness by W. W. Norton & Company. Lim’s first book was Loveliest Grotesque. It won the 2006 Kore Press First Book Award for Poetry. She has also been published in the Boston Review, Court Green, Guernica, Colorado Review, and American Letters & Commentary. She received fellowships from The MacDowell Colony and Vermont Studio Center.[1]

Lim was born in Seoul, Korea and grew up in the area around San Francisco. She is an assistant professor of English at the University of Massachusetts Lowell in Lowell, Massachusetts.[1][2]
