History
After Paul Gibbons sold his shares in Hurst Publishing and Auto Trader, he created the Leaderboard brand and negotiated the purchase of Sandford Springs Golf Club. <ref name=”http://business.timesonline.co.uk">A passion for golf and a passion for business – The Times Online</ref>
Sandford Springs is home to three different 9 hole courses, known as ‘The Park’ ‘The Lakes’ and ‘The Wood’ which were designed by Hawtree and Son, founding members of the British Institute of Golf Course Architects.
As with the other Leaderboard courses, Sandford Springs is part of Leaderboard Golf’s ‘Premier Golf Alliance’ in allegiance with high profile golfing venues like Gleneagles in Scotland.
