San Giuseppe Vesuviano is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Naples in Italy, region Campania, located about 20 km east of Naples. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 27,966 and an area of 14.1 km².[1]

The parents of John Gotti emigrated from San Giuseppe Vesuviano. Of great beauty is the sanctuary dedicated to St. Joseph that stands in the center of the city.
