The San Diego Toreros basketball team is the basketball team that represent the University of San Diego in San Diego, California. The school's team currently competes in the West Coast Conference. The team played in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament in 2008.
The Toreros play their home games in the Jenny Craig Pavilion. In 2007, Bill Grier was formally announced as San Diego's men's head basketball coach, replacing Brad Holland. On March 16th, 2015 Athletic Director Ky Snyder announced the firing of coach Grier. USD is currently in search of a new head coach.
