Samuel W. Soule
Wisconsin Historical Marker
Samuel Willard Soulé (January 25, 1830 - July 12, 1875)[1] along with Christopher Sholes and Carlos Glidden invented the first practical typewriter at a machine shop located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1869.[2]
