Samuel Marcus (born Samuel Marcus Egber; January 23, 1996)[1] is an American actor and internet/television personality notable for appearing on the Bravo show The People's Couch.[2] He is also known for being one of the original teens on The Fine Brothers' YouTube channel where he can be seen on Teens React[3] and is heavily featured in their gaming episodes.[4] Every episode he is seen by millions of people worldwide.[5]

Life and career

Personal life

Marcus was born in Silver Spring, Maryland and is the third son of Andrew and Julie Egber. He began acting in local theatre productions at an early age. His first role in theatre was playing a Lost Boy in Peter Pan.[6]

He was raised in Potomac, Maryland where he attended Winston Churchill High School for one semester before moving to Los Angeles, California with his father at the age of 15 to pursue his career as an actor in film and television.[5] His mother and younger brother followed shortly after. The summer before he moved to Los Angeles, he attended the famous performing arts summer camp Stagedoor Manor.[6]

After moving to California, he began attending Laurel Springs School online so he could pursue his career full-time, while still receiving his high school education. He passed the California High School Proficiency Exam at the age of 16 and began attending Los Angeles Valley College. Both of his parents are of Russian and Polish descent. He has three brothers. His oldest brother, Alexander, is a naval officer in the United States Navy. His other two brothers are named Devin and Jack.

Marcus made his Off Broadway debut playing the lead role in a two-man play at The Barrow Group Theatre in New York City when he was 15 years old.
