Samuel Collings is a British actor.

Life

Samuel Collings is the son of the actor David Collings and the actress Karen Archer. Collings became interested in acting at the age of six when he saw his fathers plays at the National Theatre. He did an acting course at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, but he stopped after a year because he was too busy with his TV works.[1] In the second series of Hex he played the main character of Tom. Tom is secretly gay and in love with his roommate Leon.[2] His other credits include Holby City, Doctors and The Bible.[3] Next to his appearances in films and TV series, Samuel Collings can also be seen in several theatre plays. His theatre credits include The Man in The Man with the Flower in His Mouth,[4] Lyngstrand in The Lady from the Sea,[5] Gavestone in Edward II[6] and Henry Crawford in Mansfield Park.[7]
