Sammie Rhodes (born November 10, 1983) is the stage name of an American pornographic actress.

Early life

Rhodes is a native of Connecticut. She was an honor student in high school and attended college on the East Coast before moving to Los Angeles in 2004 to enter the entertainment industry.[1] In college, she studied sociology and English.[3]

Career

Rhodes stated in an early interview that she did not intend to enter the adult industry, but that "It chose me, it was never a conscious decision for me to enter Adult." Originally, she worked as a mainstream model.[3] Rhodes is represented by the Fresh Talent Management agency.[1] She credits her agent for getting her life in order: "I was stressed, I drank and was immature. But under the influence of Skooby [her agent], I got my act together. Now, I take care of myself physically and mentally. I take responsibility for my actions, eliminated the drama from my life, and am the healthiest and happiest I’ve ever been in my life."[3]

Over Rhodes' career, she has appeared in over 350 productions and worked for studios such as Adam & Eve, Bluebird films, Brazzers, Caballero Home Video, Danni Ashe, Digital Playground, Elegant Angel, Evil Angel, Girlfriends Films, Hustler Video, Jules Jordan Video, Manwin, New Sensations, Penthouse Video, Sin City, VCA Pictures, Vivid Entertainment, Wicked Pictures, and Zero Tolerance Entertainment.[2]

After some initial boy/girl scenes, Rhodes announced in 2006 that she would only do girl/girl scenes.[1][3]

Appearances

In 2010, Rhodes appeared in the music video for Gives You Hell by the rock band The Inevitable Backlash.[4]

Other ventures

Rhodes stated in an interview that she has earned her real estate license, but (at the time, 2006) she has no plans to leave the adult industry.[1]

Personal life

Rhodes is a cellist. She is bisexual and states that her "first sexual experience had been with a girl".[3]
