Sameura Dam (早明浦ダム Sameura-damu) is a dam on the Yoshino River in the island of Shikoku, Japan, completed in 1978.[1] It is the largest dam on Shikoku. Sameura Dam created a reservoir behind the dam, named Lake Sameura (さめうら湖 Sameura-ko).

The dam is used for hydropower, flood control, tap water, and irrigation. The hydropower plant can generate 42,000 kW.
