Samara Felippo Santana (born October 6, 1978 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian actress.

Biography

Samara was intended to become a gymnast but decided to study theater to lose her inhibitions.[1] At age 17, declined to take entrance exams for Computer Science, to get a spot in the workshop of actors of the Rede Globo.[1][2]

Career

It called for Caça Talentos, the telenovela morning presenter Angélica child.[1] In early 1997 participated in the Estrela por um Dia picture in the program Domingão do Faustão. His test was a remake of the scene Nívea Stelmann character in the soap opera A Indomada opposite Matheus Rocha.[1] His performance was excellent and enabled to participate in other realizations of the soap operas broadcast industry.[1]

Cinema Samara attended a college in Rio de Janeiro.[2] In the film, Samara in the film O Dono do Mar, produced in Maranhão in 2001 and released in 2006.[4][5][6] Concerto Campestre, all production filmed in Pelotas (RS), she is the protagonist.[7]

Also very involved with the theater, Samara has participated in several plays during the periods where he is from the screen. The actress starred in Êxtase (2007);[2] A frente fria que a chuva traz (2006);[8] Comunhão de Bens (2000);[8] O Guarani (1998).[8]

In 2006 took part in the miniseries JK, who lived in Maria Estela Kubitschek[2] and also played the villain in Wandinha, O Profeta.[2] In 2007 the actress dubbed Colette to design animation Ratatouille[9] and on TV participated in the novel Sete Pecados of the globe.[2] In 2008 participated in the reality show of Domingão do Faustão, Dança dos Famosos 5.[10] It is still in the same year he took a few episodes of Casos e Acasos of TV Globo.[8] She also performed at the theater the play Intenções Perigosas.[8]

In July 2012, the actress signed with Rede Record.[16][17] In 2013, the actress was cast in the miniseries living Dinah biblical José do Egito.[18] In the same year she returns to theater Orgulhosa Demais, Frágil Demais, the number she gives life to Marilyn Monroe.[19]

In January 2014 he signed a contract with Globo, and the series will be O Caçador.[20]

Personal life

She married basketball player Leandro Barbosa in 2008, and the couple's daughter, Alícia, was born on June 25, 2009.[2][21] In December 2010, the couple separated,[22] but reconciled again six months later.[23] But in September 2013, the actress announced their separation again.[24] The actress has a column on the sidelines of the basketball and the NBA in portal Basketeria.[25]

On May 25, 2013, Samara gives birth to her second daughter, Lara, which was delivered by cesarean section.[26]
