Samantha Crawford (born February 18, 1995 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American tennis player.
Crawford has won four doubles titles on the ITF tour in her career. On July 8, 2013, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 218. On September 8, 2014, she peaked at world number 217 in the doubles rankings.
As a junior, Crawford won the girls' singles title at the 2012 US Open, defeating Anett Kontaveit in the final.
Career
2012
Crawford received a wildcard into the 2012 US Open – Women's Singles Qualifying. She got to the qualifying competition with wins over Irina Khromacheva and Marie-Ève Pelletier. She played Eleni Daniilidou for a spot in the main draw, winning in three sets. In her first women's grand slam main draw appearance, Crawford lost to fellow teenager Laura Robson.
