Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is an NHS trust based in Salisbury that covers South Wiltshire, North and East Dorset and South West Hampshire. It gained Foundation trust status in 2006 and is currently rated as fair and excellent in quality of services and use of resources respectively.
It includes Salisbury District Hospital.
Luke March, who retired as chairman of the Trust in December, took over the role after five years as deputy chairman for Barts Health NHS Trust. He is succeeded by Nick Marsden, who was previously deputy chairman at University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.[1]
In September 2014 it was placed in top 100 healthcare employers in country by the Best Companies Group on the basis of a staff survey on quality of leadership, staff communications, training and development and the working environment.[2]
