Salem railway division (Tamil: சேலம் இரயில்வே கோட்டம்) is a railway division of the Southern Railways (SR), India. It was established as a new division by bringing together major sections of the Southern Railway in Western and Central Tamil Nadu that were formerly under the Palakkad railway division.[1] Currently it serves up to 15 districts in the state and has a total route length amounting to 795 km (494 mi). [2]
Coimbatore Junction is the most busiest railway station in this division.
