Saifuddin Hamza Shah

Saifuddin Hamza Shah (141012 CE) was the fourth Sultan of the first Ilyas dynasty of Bengal. After the death of his father, Ghiyasuddin Azam Shah, he succeeded the throne and assumed the title Sultan-us-Salatin.[1]

History

A civil war in Bengal broke out during Hamza's reign. In 1412, after only 2 years of ruling, he was killed by his slave son Shihabuddin.[1]
